Jeremiah Lussier

TENOR | ACCOMPANIST

Jeremiah James Lussier has built an active career as an actor, music director, and performer across the Orange County and Los Angeles areas. He earned his B.M. Vocal Performance from the Chapman University’s Hall-Musco Conservatory of Music, and trained at the Tony Award-winning South Coast Repertory, where he made his professional theatrical debut in A Christmas Carol, thus beginning his work in musical theatre. In addition to his performance career, Mr. Lussier has worked extensively in liturgical music throughout the Diocese of Orange. He served as Director of Music here at St. Kilian Catholic Church for five years, building and overseeing a vibrant program including five ensembles, a robust team of professional musicians, and a dedicated group of volunteers. He also served as a full-time vocal coach and associate staff member at San Juan Hills High School’s Vocal Conservatory Program for the 2024-2025 school year. Prior to his position at St. Kilian, he worked as a professional staff singer and accompanist at various parishes including Christ Cathedral and Santiago de Compostela Catholic Church.

Jeremiah is currently pursuing his MFA in Theatre Management and Producing at Columbia University in New York City. He returns during semester recesses as a cantor, accompanist, and substitute director. He aims to be a creative force, combining his management skills and performance experience to shape both the theatrical and film mediums, with a focus on revivals, adaptations to and from the silver screen, and new works that will propel these artistic worlds forward for generations to come. He is grateful for his time at St. Kilian, the lessons he learned, and applying them to his future career as a budding performing arts executive.
