SoulCore is a movement born from the desire to nourish body AND soul through prayer and core strengthening, functional movements.
The need to involve the senses in interior prayer corresponds to a requirement of our human nature. We are body and spirit, and we experience the need to translate our feelings externally. We must pray with our whole being to give all power possible to our supplication. (Catechism of the Catholic Church 2702)
Uniting BODY, mind & soul in prayer makes our prayer more powerful!
Important Information about SoulCore Classes
A SoulCore Rosary is typically 45-60 minutes. The workout itself can be modified according to your abilities on any given day and can be as challenging as you desire it to be. We encourage resting as often as needed, always honoring your body.
Please bring a yoga/Pilates mat or towel and a water bottle. This is a movement class, so please wear comfortable athletic attire. Each class is a $10 suggested donation, for those who are able.

Meet SoulCore Leader – Gia
I am so thrilled and honored to be involved in the SoulCore apostolate.
My name is Gia. I was raised in a fun Catholic family and have a strong faith background. I love ministering to others and lifting them up and encouraging people through prayer. I have been active in volunteering with marriage ministry and co- leading woman’s Bible studies the last 7 years. My husband and I moved from Michigan to Southern CA in 2001, and we are blessed with three amazing teenagers: 13,17 & 19 years old.
My husband Scott has an online website and podcast called RosaryMinded, so I was thrilled when I found SoulCore where I can blend my love of the Holy Rosary with my fitness background. I love watching others become closer to Christ through the intercession of our Blessed Mother Mary and the gift of the Holy Rosary.
I have been a fitness instructor for 15 years, specializing in Pilates and restorative functional movement, pre- and post-natal fitness, and fitness for kids. I look forward to leading others in their journey using the beautiful tool of soul care to grow deeper in their personal relationship with Christ.
A Few of Gia’s Favorite Scripture Verses:
Luke 1:37, Matthew 21 :21-22, 1 Corinthians 13: 4-7, Philippians 4:6-9
