Ministry Info

Students want to learn from people who care about them; they want to be discovered and known. When youth ministries create opportunities for students to step into meaningful relationships with adult believers, they lay a foundation for both evangelism and discipleship.

Junior High school-aged parishioners are invited to join EDGE at St. Kilian. All activities are open to anyone in grades 6-8, they do not need to be a parishioner or a practicing Catholic. Youth are encouraged to bring their friends! Activities for EDGE include:

  • Weekly youth nights, Tuesdays at 6:30pm-8pm, that include faith-centered reflections, fellowship, and fun

Adult volunteers

Youth ministry isn’t just about students; it’s also about partnering with parents. Parents are the primary faith influencers. Ministering to parents is just as important as ministering to students.

Partnering with parents allows us to equip parents in their role as disciples, to help dig into a student’s life, model the religious life, and help students walk through the doors of adulthood with Jesus Christ.

All Parents and adults are invited to join at events and chaperone and mentor our youth. Once clearing our Safe Environment Requirements, volunteers will be able to accompany our teens in their faith journey. If you would like to help our community in any way, please let us know.
